Brixham – stopping at Fermoys garden centre for coffee

Fermoys is a large garden centre, farm shop and café, part of the Blue diamond group. Why not try one of the many homemade cakes on offer while relaxing in the café or have a look around the farm shop where they offer a delicious choice of artisan food and drinks.

Although we have visited Brixham recently, the last trip was so much appreciated that it was requested again this year. A beautiful spot where there is plenty of opportunities to see beautiful views and wildlife particularly on the stunning headland that surrounds this interesting small fishing town in the district of Torbay. The landing place of William of Orange during the Glorious revolution, Brixham has an interesting history where picturesque cottages line the streets near the harbour, one of which coffin house is so named as it is shaped like a coffin. There is a full sized replica of Sir Francis Drakes ship the Golden Hinde permanently moored in the harbour.
