Lynton & Lynmouth

Situated on the North Coast of Devon within the Exmoor national park, this area is famous for its breath-taking beauty and unspoilt landscape. The small rural town of Lynton and the coastal village of Lynmouth offer an escape from the bustle of modern life and boast an impressive and fascinating history – including the building of a hydroelectric power station in 1889 used to light the town and the devastating flood in 1952. We will park the coach in Lynmouth and if you wish you can either use the cliff railway (2017 fare was £3.90 for an adult rtn) or take a 5 – 10 min walk to Lynton.
